Model façade with the newest technology

As a combination of the transparent media façade systems Mediamesh^® and Illumesh^® a new model façade has been installed at a corporate building of the GKD headquarter in Düren. It enables designers, investors or contractors to examine and test all relevant technical elements as well as aesthetics and transparency in detail. With the improved resolution – 116 instead of 96 LED-profiles – plus constructive optimisation of the eightfold converter and the data control unit, the model façade presents itself with a state-of-the-art technology. A wide content spectrum shows twenty-four-seven the capability of the systems. As well as all other GKD products the model façade is strictly customer oriented: if required, specific assignments of tasks can be shown expressively by planned modifications or adaptations to the customer requirements.

Illumesh^® and Mediamesh^® are joint products by GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG and ag4 media façade GmbH. Notable architectural projects which have been designed with these systems include e.g. the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Times Square in New York, the Indemann and the biggest media façade of the world in Leverkusen which is currently under construction.
