Plain Dutch Weaves are important components in the range of filter media which we supply for filtration grades of about 40 µm.
The cloth is manufactured in a plain pattern (1/1) in which die intervals of the warp wires are greater than between the weft wires.
The surfaces of Plain Dutch Weaves are closed and filtration takes place at the crossing point of warp and weft.
These weaves have a considerably greater mechanical stability than plain open 
square meshes.
Our available stock of Plain Dutch Weaves, with openings ranging from nom. 40 µm up to nom. 85 µm, cover most of the needs for filter media in industrial filtration.
Plain Dutch Weaves are used in drum filters, nutsch-type filters and in cartridge filters.
The materials used for these stock items are the stainless steels AISI 304 and 316 (DIN 1.4301 and 1.4401).
