Square mesh is used in the areas of screening and filtration.
GKD produces meshes in its standard program with mesh opening of 0.025 mm up to 14 mm on the basis of DIN/ISO 9044 (industrial wire mesh).
Depending on the aperture, the woven wire meshes are manufactured as plain weaves (1/1) or as twilled weaves (2/2).
The standard materials used are the stainless steels AISI 316 and 316L.
Depending on the type of mesh, standard production widths range from 1.3 m to 3 m.
Special orders can be produced in widths of up to 8.1 m. To ensure shortest delivery times, needs-oriented stocks are maintained of all our standard meshes.
Customer-specific orders make up a large part of the production volume of our weaving department.
We manufacture mesh to particular specifications or produce standard meshes in special materials like Monel, Hastelloy, Inconnel or Titanium.
