For applications in the automotive industry GKD offers well engineered stainless steel filtermedia.
Square mesh, plain dutch weaves as well as multilayer constructions (GEKUPLATE) and our special YMAX® mesh (multilayered woven struc-tures) are applied.
Available materials are all common stainless steels like 1.4301/ 1.4306/ 1.4306/ 1.4401/ 1.4404 (304/304L/316/316L).
Also heat-resistant materials belong to our standard. The filtration rates of our media range from 3 micron up to 500 micron.
Typical application fields of GKD filter-media are e.g. airbag systems, hydraulic systems as well as particle filtration in hot gas streams.
